On The Rack #39 - Part Deux

About a year ago...I met a real nice guy with a REAL nice Lincoln Mark VIII LSC who wanted some cat-back exhaust work. He was trying to break into the 13s for SSHS6. He's now a member here as mlschultz .

Here's what we started with....

AFTER w/NEW 2 1/2" Stainless Steel Cat-Back with Magnaflow Mufflers

One of the issues we ran into on Mikes LSC was the stock tips had 2" inlets...and to reuse those after running all of that 2 1/2" SS...we'd might as well weld it shut at the bumper. So, Mike selected these Polished Stainless Steel tips....and was never really COMPLETELY happy with them.

BUT...he DID run in the 13s @ SSHS6!!!!

Well...the "13s" weren't enough for my friend Mike....so I hooked him up with Aric Carrion @ Injected Engineering....and he decided to surprise some Impalas at SSHS7 with a little hel under the hood.....

And with the NEW "hairdryer" under the hood...Mike had Aric install some Kook's headers...then BACK to us for Magnaflow, high-flow CATs and custom connection to our cat-back system from last year....

And...after about 4 hours+ worth of work on each tip (Bryan had to literally destroy them/then rebuild them)....Bryan has the factory LSC tips installed with 2 1/2" inlets.....making this thing look quite "tame" from the rear....
