What a sweet and musical sound...my mother owned a mark viii and when i drove that thing it was the first normally aspirated luxury car that id driven that would throw you in your seat when it would launch from a 20 mph roll...it was scary...now i know another car that does that!

Hi Guys
 I went to the track last night, and wanted to post the results.I did a total of 5 runs, and Aric did 3 runs. Traction was a big issue, and the shift points still need work. Aric loaded up a cool program on the xcal2. A totally electronic manual valve body He used it on the last run of the night. This file will turn the Mark into a manual shift car. Leave it in third - and it will stay in third, even leaving from a stop light. I have it on video, it is the last video below.The best run of the day was a 12.745 @ 108.43. It is the first video below. Here is the slip: 60'.....1.865 330'....5.337 1/8.....8.179 mph.....86.26 1000'..10.660 1/4....12.745 mph....108.43 I am the driver for the first video during the day.  And to think...I knew ya when you just wanted to be in the 14s.... Oh...it was great watching you smoke all those folks...and...uh....the Mark sounded GREAT  ..... 'cept for the 1st video where that POS Malibu/Nova/whatever drowned out your sound with his open pipe crap

Thanks, Todd and Glenn. Not sure if Aric wants to put the 100 octane in it, but I will ask him what he thinks about it. He already whacked me up side the head for hot lapping it at the track. My 5 runs were all done within a half hour.
 Great video Glenn By November, I hope that Aric finds a couple 10ths for me, so we can put on a real good show.

Nitrous Gas!
Have Eric drop a Zex 100HP shot of Nitrous gas in your Mark. It will make a big difference.
Also, what tires are you using? Your 60' times are not bad. I can't do any better with my Nittos DRs 305x18 on 10" rims.
